WATCH: The LOX Drop New Music Video For ‘Don’t You Cry’

In partnership with BET, The Lox have just dropped their newest visuals for their “Don’t You Cry” single off of the upcoming album Filthy America… It’s Beautiful. A few weeks back, the group told the world that they will be releasing a new album with their new label. They announced the title, as seen above, and the date (which will be very soon, December 16th to be exact). The album has previously been made available for pre-order on iTunes. And those of you who take advantage of the early pre-order receive not one, but two new LOX songs instantly. Those songs being “Don’t You Cry” and “What Else You Need To Know.” “Don’t You Cry” finds the trio ready for war with any emcee who doesn’t pay respect. “Legend is an understatement … you just run the block, we run the whole nation,” raps Jadakiss. Before Kiss, Sheek Louch raps “I don’t care what your new shit did, I’m a god.” Then Styles P finishes the song with a killer verse.’

The visuals show the menacing truth behind the street life in NYC. In their own, the trio goes on to kidnap a guy over a deal gone wrong, and then torture him GTA V style. Jadakiss strangles him, meanwhile Styles P pours gasoline all over him — you know, to send a message. You can watch the enjoyable/gritty video–produced by Mills Miller Media–above, and preorder Filthy America… It’s Beautiful on iTunes right now. Hopefully you’ll enjoy the video and album just as much as we do.
